Microsoft Windows Update and Patch IE Bug

Tuesday, Microsoft announced that the company intends to create an out-of-band patch for a huge error limits, which affects all versions of Internet Explorer, allowing the attacker to malicious attacks to steal information and download the computer, without ‘ User intervention.

Microsoft has said that they are aware of active exploitation of the vulnerability to attack, but said in its warning that only knowledge of the attack on the Uindous Internet Explorer 7.

Security problem in Internet Explorer is derived from the basic flaw in the browser function of data – a weakness the last phase of the leaves hole in space that the memory can be accessed remotely by hackers. Internet Explorer unexpectedly in May on a farm in the country.

Experts say the problem is particularly troublesome because it is close and do not require user intervention. Rather than click on the link infected or by downloading the software, users need only visit the site and loaded with malware, so that the operation was successful. When a user uses the computer, the malicious code can be used to steal financial data, credit and passwords, or enter into a network of computers to distribute spam and malicious software, known as botnets name.

Yahoo Problems?

Some users cannot access their mail service in yahoo last wednesday. Yahoo portal said yahoo cannot find any server.Apparenty Yahoo down. having yahoo problems could make us headache since many notification of some service I use come through yahoo mail service. Not all yahoo service have the problem, only some area in yahoo service coverage. Did anyone have same problem? Sometimes we just can`t get it, how come it be. Giant portal with alexa rank #1 and Google pagerank #2 can have trouble regarding with server down. As same as ours, with limited bandwidth well :)

So what kind of problem? DNS (Domain Name System) problem. Couples hours later they sent email notification for their users and said: “Yahoo! experienced a disruption in service earlier today that affected users in some geographic areas. We’ve addressed the issue and full service is now available. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

Matthew Petach, one of the yahoo team said that the problem of DNS errors was router name Juniper T1600  which was “went kablooie”. What is that mean?
